Allen & Heath

Allen & Heath is a mixing-console manufacturer based at Kernick Industrial Estate, Penryn, Cornwall. The company's own site dates the brand to London in 1969; Wikipedia gives 1968, naming Andy Bereza and Stephen Batiste. Harman International bought the firm in 1991. A management buyout followed in 2001, then sales to D&M Holdings (2008) and Electra Partners (2013). In 2014 Allen & Heath joined DiGiCo and Calrec in the new Audiotonix group. PAI Partners took a majority stake in Audiotonix in 2024; Ardian kept a minority holding. Design and specification stay in Cornwall. The line covers dLive, Avantis, SQ and SQ+, Qu and CQ mixers, AHM matrix processors and Xone DJ mixers.
