Mounts and overhead
Ceiling, wall and desk mounts for cameras and installed audio, for hardware that lives permanently rather than coming out on a shoot day.
How to choose an overhead or ceiling mount
Load path and fixing. A ceiling mount transfers weight into structure, not into a tile. Shure's A910-HCM hard-ceiling mount and A900-CM ceiling mount, and the 25 mm pipe adapters (A910-25MM, A920-25MM), are specified for that. Get the fixing surface confirmed before ordering.
Fixed or adjustable. A fixed mount is cleaner and does not drift. An adjustable mount lets a room be re-aimed after furniture moves, which meeting rooms always do.
Cable route. Overhead installs need a path for power and network. Decide it before the mount, because a mount with no cable route creates a visible loop.
Desk and rack alternatives. Ulanzi's TC001 and TC002 desk units and SmallRig's iPad mount cover the desktop end, and the MXP-5 series covers wall-mount racks.
Who installs it. Ceiling work usually needs a contractor and a permit conversation. We will supply parts to an installer or quote the job through the Pro Desk.
This collection is enquire-only at launch: 6 of 11 records carry a published price. Send the room dimensions, the ceiling type and what is being mounted and we will come back with the part list.
