Godox Photo Equipment Co., Ltd. (深圳市神牛摄影器材有限公司) was founded in 1993 in Shenzhen as a lighting manufacturer. The company's own materials still use that year. The factory campus is in Bao'an; the KNOWLED line is the higher-output cinema LED sub-brand. Godox also makes on-camera flash, TTL-capable strobes, LED COBs and panels, modifiers, and a large backdrop / green-screen range.
