About PreSonusUnited States · founded 1995

PreSonus Audio Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1995 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by Jim Odom and Brian Smith, both Louisiana State University engineering graduates. Headquarters remain in Baton Rouge. Fender Musical Instruments Corporation acquired PreSonus in November 2021. Fender has moved Studio One software and some Quantum and AudioBox interfaces onto the Fender Studio brand; PreSonus continues as the brand for Eris studio monitors, StudioLive digital mixers and AIR XD loudspeakers. The line covers studio monitors, live digital mixers, powered loudspeakers, FaderPort control surfaces and remaining PreSonus-branded interfaces.
