How to choose a wireless microphone system
Band. 2.4 GHz kits (Hollyland Lark M2, Lark A2, Lark Max) are licence-light, pocket-sized and fine for one or two speakers. UHF systems (Shure ULX-D, ULXD4D, ULXD4Q) give you coordinated frequencies, real antenna distribution and the channel counts a stage or a conference floor needs.
Channel count. Count the people, then count the spares. Dual and quad receivers exist because adding a fifth mic to a four-channel plan usually means re-coordinating everything.
Battery runtime and charging. A clip-on with a charging case suits run-and-gun; rechargeable bodypacks with a docking charger suit a venue that turns over daily.
Encryption and reliability. AES-256 encryption on the ULX-D line matters for corporate, legal and government work.
Creator kits show prices and go straight to the cart. Rack UHF systems and anything needing frequency coordination are quoted, because the legal band depends on where you use it.
