Why this kit
A single-camera stream is the right starting point because the failure mode of a small volunteer team is too many cameras, not too few. The OBSBOT Tail 2 keeps the speaker framed with AI tracking and no operator. It has a 5x optical lens rather than a long broadcast zoom, so this kit suits a hall where the camera can stand within about 15 m of the pulpit; from further back, the XA60 swap reaches but stays locked off. The ATEM Mini Pro ISO streams in hardware over its own Ethernet port, so a laptop crash does not take the service off air. The two RØDE mics are for the stream. They run on 2.4 GHz, which shares the air with Wi-Fi, so keep the receiver in clear sight of the speaker and plan well inside the rated range. The handheld is an omnidirectional condenser and will feed back near hall speakers, so keep your PA microphones for the room and bring the PA mix into the switcher's second input, which is how choir and organ reach the stream. One person can run all of this, so there is no intercom in the kit; a headset pair is an add-on.
