The HK-41 is a Slip-On lens hood that is used to protect the front element of the AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC1.4 FL ED VR lens and AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm F/2.8E FL ED SR VR lens from flare when shooting as well as from the elements when shooting in rain or snow.
