In any application that involves content with both audio and video, the MGX12V will elevate your production quality and captivate your audience.
Versatility and Professional Sound You Can Count On
An audio mixer is expected to offer high versatility to accommodate a wide range of applications—such as live sound, podcast and live streaming, and recording—while delivering audio quality that satisfies the audience, the musicians and performers on stage, and you, the one who supports and shapes the entire experience.
The MGX features carefully selected physical I/O and extensive mixing capacity that enables flexible sound creation. Onboard DSP effects further enhance audio processing power, delivering a refined, professional sound for any application.
Flexible Power, Unrivaled Performance
In today's world, traditional applications such as live or installed sound, podcasting and live streaming, and recording production continue to diversify and evolve. Hybrid live events that combine live performances with simultaneous streaming are becoming more common, as are applications that handle both audio and video signals. To meet this broad range of demands with greater flexibility, the MGX is designed not only as a versatile mixer but also as a multifunctional hub, equipped with a powerful USB interface, Bluetooth audio connectivity, sound pads, microSD card recording/playback, and HDMI-USB audio/video interface function—all packed into a compact, portable body.
Seeing is Believing
The MGX-V models are equipped with advanced HDMI-USB capture and HDMI pass-through functions, enabling seamless integration of high-definition video into video production or streaming setups. These powerful features allow users to build a compact system that manages PA and monitor audio while supporting both streaming and recording—ideal for applications ranging from small-scale live events and hybrid concerts to podcasting and live streaming.
For visual content creators, filmmakers, podcasters, and streamers who want to bring audio and video together in one package, the MGX-V models are an essential tool for delivering flawless audiovisual performance.
Complete. Connected. Creative.
The MGX is not only a versatile audio mixer, but also a fully functioning recording studio and streaming station that meets the needs of a wide range of applications including live sound reinforcement, streaming and audio production. When used together with Steinberg’s software mixer MixKey, users can easily manage all audio signals on their PC. In future updates, seamless integration with Yamaha's USB controller CC1 and Elgato’s Stream Deck controller is also planned to further enhance workflow and system operation.
With Yamaha’s ever-expanding lineup of compatible products and continuous updates, a system built around an MGX console will continue to evolve with you as you refine your skills and broaden your creative horizons—whether as an engineer, producer, artist, streamer, or any combination of the four.
