Why this kit

This is a mobile journalism kit, not a bigger Reels kit, and that changes what it has to survive: a forty-minute live from a venue, a piece to camera in a corridor, a vox pop on a pavement, all on the phone, all in one bag. The thermal cage is the least glamorous item and the most load-bearing, because a phone shooting 4K or streaming will throttle long before the battery dies, and the cage cools at 11–14 W while passing PD charge through; the power bank is what keeps it and the phone running away from a socket. The wireless monitor lets you shoot yourself on the phone's rear camera, which is the better one, and still see the frame. The LARK MAX 2 is here for the internal recording; on a live there is no second take. The RC 60C on a boom-arm stand is the only part that looks like a studio, and it is RGB because location colour is something you match, not something you fight.
