Why this kit

Moving the switch off the computer is what makes a multi-camera stream stable: the ATEM Mini Pro ISO does the cutting, the streaming encode and the ISO recording in hardware, so a software stall costs you nothing. The Micro Panel gives it a T-bar and source buttons, because cutting from a mouse is where the mistakes happen. The ATEM has only 3.5 mm audio inputs, so the voice chain sits in front of it: the SM7B is a low-output dynamic that needs real gain, the RØDECaster Duo has up to 76 dB of it, and the Duo's balanced line outs feed the ATEM through one cable, so your processed voice is in the program and on every recording. The RC 220B at 200 W has the headroom to key through an 85 cm box and still stop down. Two Canon R8s give the ISO switcher a main angle and a second angle to cut to, full-frame for a softer background, each on USB-C power (Canon lists USB power for the R8) so a long stream is never limited by batteries.
