Why this kit
At three cameras across a hall the deciding constraint is cable length, and that is what moves this tier to SDI: HDMI is unreliable past about 15 m and BNC is not, and the Tail 2 has a 3G-SDI output, so each head drives its BNC run directly with no converter to fail on a festival night. The Television Studio HD8 ISO takes those feeds natively and records every input to a drive, which is how a temple ends up with an archive of every utsav rather than only a YouTube VOD. It also streams the programme itself over Ethernet, so the stream does not depend on a computer staying awake for eighteen hours. The clip-ons go through the PA mixer, so the hall and the stream share one mix, and bhajan leads stay on the microphones already on that mixer. The clip-ons run on 2.4 GHz, which shares the air with Wi-Fi and every phone in the crowd, and stone walls and a full hall will keep it well short of the rated range. Put the receiver in clear sight of the priest, on a balanced XLR lead back to the mixer, and test it on a crowded day before you rely on it. If the sanctum cannot see the receiver, use the rack UHF add-on, priced on a quote. This tier is sized for a mandapam or festival hall where each camera sits within about 15 m of what it frames and one operator runs the table. An open festival ground, with the sanctum, stage and control table far apart, needs longer zooms and beltpack intercom, and goes on a quote.
