Overview
Product description from Midas
XL3 — The Analogue Console That Wrote the Midas Legend.
The Midas XL3 is the desk that built the legend. The mic preamp circuit topology that has been benchmarked, copied and admired for decades was first delivered at full flagship scale on the XL3. The 4-band swept EQ that lives on across the Midas catalogue — XL3. The reference touring sound — XL3.
The XL3 Mic Preamp. Reference.
The mic preamp circuit that defined Midas. Engineers across rock, theatre, broadcast and corporate built their careers behind XL3 surfaces — and many still do. The 4-band swept EQ on every channel is the curve that subsequent Midas digital consoles emulated for a generation.
