What a podcast studio needs

  • One microphone per person on a boom arm, close to the mouth. Room sound is the biggest giveaway of a home podcast.
  • A recorder or mixer so each voice has its own level and headphones.
  • Soft surfaces: rugs, curtains and shelves soak up echo.
  • For video: two or three cameras, mains power for long sessions, soft lights above eye level, and a switcher if you want to record several angles live.

Building one or renting one?

Renting by the hour suits a few episodes. If you record every week, or your company wants a room of its own, owning the setup usually makes more sense. We only help with the second. Tell us how often you record and we will be straight about what is worth buying.

    A list that works together, with a final budget and a GST quotation PDF.

  3. Add on-site help if you want it

    A site survey, installation and training in Bengaluru are quoted as separate lines. Product prices cover the equipment only.

  4. We source and dispatch

    Dispatched in 14 to 21 working days. Setup is scheduled once the gear has arrived.

What does a podcast studio setup cost?
See the live final budgets on the kits above. Audio-only rooms cost far less than multi-camera video rooms. Tell us the number of people and whether you need video and we will suggest a list.
Do you set up the studio on site in Bengaluru?
Yes, as a separate line on the quote: site survey, installation and training. Product prices cover the equipment only.
Do you rent out a podcast studio?
No. We help you build your own. We do not rent studio time or produce shows.
Can I start small and upgrade?
Yes. Choose a kit, swap items in the kit builder and add cameras or lights later. Tell us your plan and we will avoid gear you would outgrow.
Do I get a GST invoice?
Yes, on every order, from Onewrk Marketing & Design Services Pvt Ltd (GSTIN 29AAECO6995M1ZF). Businesses can claim input credit.
How can I pay?
Online at checkout, by bank transfer (NEFT or RTGS) against a quotation, or raise a PO on the quotation. We do not offer cash on delivery or EMI.
